“I get by with a little help from my friends”

Sutherland Care Forum

The Sutherland Care Forum is seeking dedicated individuals to join us as trustees and help us continue our vital work.

As a trustee, you’ll play a crucial role in assuring the future of our organization. Our board meets quarterly to discuss strategy, review progress, and make important decisions. Trustees are actively involved in ensuring that we remain effective in serving our community.

Volunteering as a trustee is not only a rewarding way to contribute your skills and expertise but also an opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. Even if you’re already involved as a volunteer, serving as a trustee provides a deeper level of engagement and influence in continuing our mission.

If you are interested in applying, please ring Caroline Cousins (Chairman) on 01408641409

Sutherland Care Forum is here to help a wide variety of people in East Sutherland whose needs are not being met by statutory authorities. Many fall through the cracks of the system and only need a little extra support to make a big difference to their quality of life. We can:

· alleviate reliance on family/carers

· strengthen family relationships

· empower clients to be more positive about their own care

· enable people to remain independently at home for longer

· improve access to support services

· support mental health and well-being

· alleviate isolation, loneliness, illness and disability
